Background:
Nicolette studied BSc at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, majoring in Mathematics & Psychology. After 20 years as a consultant in the IT industry, she decided to refocus on helping others obtain life changing transformation through better health. She is a graduate of the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell at the T. Colin Campbell Center of Nutrition Studies. Her goal is to help people live a life as vibrantly as possible for as long as possible.
Reason for becoming a Certified Food Over Medicine Instructor:
My father’s sudden death at the young age of 50 due to various lifestyle diseases left me disillusioned with health. In my quest to obtain a healthy lifestyle for myself and my loved ones, I started focusing on the science instead of the media. Most of the information made available to the public is confusing and leaves so many people in the dark with regards to what the best route is to optimal health. I am passionate about helping others understand that they have the right to know what lifestyle changes can make a big difference to their health and to teach them how. Becoming a Certified Food over Medicine Instructor enables me to reach more people and to provide a logical and structural approach to the science of a plant-strong lifestyle with the necessary support from a pragmatic and honest leadership team.
