She has served as a Clinical Faculty member of California Northstate University College of Medicine teaching Hospice and Palliative Care as well as Sacramento City College in the Department of Psychology teaching Death and Dying. Julie is an author, minister and animal lover. She works with individuals going through life transition including people living with life-altering illness and caregivers. She loves walking, kayaking and spending time with her husband and their dogs.
