Ate SAD most of my life. Had foot uinjury and surgery about 6 years ago. When I went back to work I was very weak so went on the internet to find a green drink to help me. Started watching food documentaries online. I think I started with Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. Started watching college lectures and eventually found the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii. Have watched all their videos and eventually realized a mainly plant based diet is the best. I have been doing research ever since.
Reason for becoming a Certified Food Over Medicine Instructor:
I like helping people. It’s just my nature. When someone would comment on what I eat I would tell them why. They would many times quote Time magazine which says butter is back or some other ridiculous thing. When I saw this class I felt like having this certification would get people to think maybe I know what I am talking about.
