Background:

After spending the last 24 years in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry with roles spanning a variety of commercial experience across marketing, sales, strategy, and operations, I decided it was time to make a career shift. I hope to take my experience of leading, coaching, and developing people into the Health and Wellness field to make a difference in people’s lives and well-being.

With the increase in chronic disease and other health issues and the general lack of understanding of how food choices impact the health of individuals, animals, and the environment, there is a tremendous opportunity to educate! While I have always been active and athletic (including playing Division I college softball) and have been a vegetarian since age 13, I have recently taken classes to enhance my knowledge of making better nutrition and health choices, and I am passionate about making a positive impact for others, especially women.

In addition to being a Certified Women’s Health Instructor via Dr. Pam Popper, I have also received a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from The Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell. Having three teenage step-daughters and three rescue animals, I spend as much time outdoors as possible, including volunteering for animal rescue groups, the local food bank produce program, and growing a backyard garden by trial-and-(a lot of) error.

Reason for becoming a Certified Women’s Health Instructor:

I am passionate about helping other women make informed nutrition and health choices. I see tremendous opportunity to help change the trajectory of the food culture in the US. My purpose is to educate, coach, and guide others in leading a lifestyle of wellness – even small changes can have big and lasting impact!
